About the event

Web Summit Qatar is the Middle East edition of the Web Summit conference family, which also runs events in Lisbon, Rio de Janeiro, Vancouver and Hong Kong. It is held every year in Doha and brings together tens of thousands of people from the technology industry, including startup founders, investors, large corporations and journalists.

The programme has talks on several stages grouped into content tracks. Alongside the talks there is a startup programme with exhibition space and pitching, dedicated tracks for venture and limited-partner investors, organised meetups and evening networking events. Most of the content covers technology and business in general, such as AI, fintech and scaling a company, rather than mobile apps specifically. For founders who want to raise money or expand into the Gulf region, it is one of the largest gatherings of its kind.
