GITEX Global + Expand North Star 2026

About the event

GITEX Global is a large annual technology exhibition and conference held in Dubai, running for more than forty years. It covers artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data centres, mobility, digital health, energy and many other areas, and brings together large tech companies, government delegations, startups and investors from around the world.

Expand North Star is the startup and investor event of the GITEX family and takes place during the same week. It focuses on early-stage companies, venture funding, pitch competitions and meetings between founders and investors.

In 2026 the event week moves from its usual October slot to December and to a new venue, Expo City Dubai. The programme opens with a one-day GITEX Summit on 7 December, followed by four days of exhibition from 8 to 11 December.

Who should attend

Useful for app founders and startup teams looking for venture investors or partners in the Gulf region, and for investors who want to scan a very large pool of early-stage companies in one week. Mobile developers can see enterprise and AI trends and meet regional distribution partners, although apps and subscription monetization are only a small part of a very broad programme.
