About the event
PG Connects London is the London stop of the Pocket Gamer Connects conference series run by Steel Media, and the Apps Business Summit is one of its partner conferences, held under the same roof. In 2026 the summit took place on the first day of the two-day London show, and one PG Connects ticket gives access to the main conference and its partner summits.
The London event is an in-person B2B gathering for the games industry, spread across two venues. It combines a multitrack programme of talks, panels and roundtables with an expo area, meeting zones, an indie showcase and pitching competition, fringe sessions that connect developers with investors and publishers, and evening networking parties. Topics range across mobile, PC, console, AI, transmedia and apps. Business meetings are booked through the MeetToMatch platform.
The organizer describes the audience as developers, publishers, service and tool providers, platforms, investors and media. Most attendees work in games, so non-game app founders will find a smaller peer group here than at an apps-only event.
For deal-making, the meeting platform and investor-facing fringe sessions make it practical to line up talks with investors and publishers. It is not an app M&A event, though: buyers of apps are not named as an audience, and much of the value lies in learning and industry networking.
Who should attend
Suited to mobile game and app founders, studio leads, monetization and user acquisition specialists, and investors who follow mobile games and apps. Attendees get two days of talks, a large expo and a structured way to book meetings, and the Apps Business Summit has added an app-focused day in the past.
Tip: before the event, use the meeting platform to request time with investors and publishers early, and bring a short metrics summary (revenue, retention, acquisition costs). If you plan to sell, ask fellow app owners and service providers for introductions to likely acquirers.
