About the event
Latitude59 is described by its organizers as Estonia's flagship startup and tech event. It takes place in Tallinn at Kultuurikatel, and the 2027 edition runs May 19-21. The organizer invites startups to showcase their products to about 3,500 attendees from 70 countries and to meet more than 800 investors. Investor Day is part of the programme, and the event is a multi-day conference with several stages, talks and side events across the city.
The programme covers startups, investment and new technologies, with a legal sandbox for experimentation among the themes the organizer has previewed. Ticket categories are split by role, including startup, investor, angel investor and guest passes, and a startup demo booth is offered.
For app founders, Latitude59 is a broad startup and tech conference rather than a mobile-focused one. The published material does not describe app-specific sessions. A matchmaking area for investors and startups and a dedicated investor day make it a practical place for early conversations with angel investors and venture capital firms, especially from the Baltic, Nordic and Central and Eastern European region. It is better suited to introductions and early fundraising talks than to closing app transactions.
Who should attend
Early-stage founders from the Baltic, Nordic and Central and Eastern European region who are looking for angel or venture funding, and investors who scout startups. Corporate and public-sector participants also attend. Before going, pick the investors you want to meet and prepare a short deck and a clear product demo for the matchmaking area or a booth. If you plan to sell an app, bring revenue, retention and growth figures, not just user counts.
