About the event
Gamesforum London is the London edition of the Gamesforum event series run by Games Forum Ltd, which also holds conferences in other cities, including Barcelona, San Francisco and Cyprus. It is a two-day, in-person conference about growing mobile games, centred on user acquisition, retention and monetisation.
The programme mixes talks, data-based case studies and roundtable discussions. Themes listed for the 2026 edition included full-funnel acquisition that combines paid UA, organic growth, ASO, retargeting and rewarded channels; retention driven by LiveOps, new content and community; ad monetisation with deeper segmentation and personalised ad experiences; and disciplined testing of ad creatives now that AI makes them cheap to produce. Recent speakers have included marketing, product, growth and legal leaders from game studios and publishers.
The audience consists mainly of UA, monetisation and product specialists from mobile game studios of different sizes, together with a large number of adtech and growth vendors; recent sponsors and exhibitors included Google AdMob, Moloco, Liftoff, AppLovin, Unity, Meta and Adapty.
For app founders this is primarily a learning and networking event for mobile game growth teams. The organizer does not present it as a place for app M&A or fundraising, so any conversations with potential buyers or investors would happen informally between sessions.
Who should attend
Best suited to UA managers, monetisation leads, product managers and founders of mobile game studios who want practical, case-based input on acquisition, retention and ad revenue, along with direct contact with ad networks and measurement vendors. Founders of non-game subscription apps will find it less directly relevant.
If you plan to sell a game or raise money, bring a short summary of installs, retention cohorts, ARPDAU and the split between ad and in-app revenue, and use the breaks to talk with growth heads and executives at publishers that may be looking to acquire titles.
