About the event

PG Connects London, from the Pocket Gamer Connects series, is a two-day business conference for the games and apps industry, held at two nearby venues in London: The Brewery and the Barbican Centre. The 2027 edition is listed for 18-19 January. A single ticket covers the main conference and partner summits; Apps Business Summit is one of those partner events in the series, and it ran on the first day of the 2026 London edition. The 2027 schedule for that summit is not confirmed on the pages we read.

The format combines a multi-track programme of talks, panels and roundtables with an expo area, meeting zones and an integrated MeetToMatch meeting platform for booking one-to-one meetings. Topics span mobile, PC, console, AI, transmedia and apps. The organizer's figures for the London event cite about 3,000 delegates and 1,600 companies, including developers, publishers, service and tool providers, platforms, investors and media. There is an indie showcase with a pitching competition and an audience choice award, a careers zone, and fringe events that connect investors and publishers with developers.

For app founders it is mainly a networking and learning event with a games-industry centre of gravity, not an app M&A marketplace. It can still be useful for meeting publishers, investors and monetization or growth service providers, especially for those working in mobile games and apps.

Who should attend

Suited to mobile game and app founders, indie developers, growth and monetization leads, publishers and service providers who want a lot of industry contacts in two days. Investors and publishers are listed among attendees, and the organizer runs fringe events for them with developers.

Tips: before the event, book meetings on the MeetToMatch platform with publishers, investors and potential partners, and prepare a one-page summary of your app's revenue, retention and growth metrics to share when asked.
