About the event
MicroConf is a conference series for bootstrapped and self-funded software founders, with an emphasis on SaaS businesses. The official site describes its events as small and curated. The 2027 calendar lists a US edition in Austin, Texas, in April and a European edition in Dubrovnik, Croatia, in early October. The programme consists of talks on growth tactics, frameworks and founder stories. The speakers are people who run and scale SaaS companies themselves, and the content targets founders building businesses at six to eight figures. According to the organizer, much of the value comes from the informal conversations between sessions, which it calls the hallway track. The European edition also includes an afternoon of group excursions designed to help founders get to know each other. Attendees are mainly bootstrapped SaaS founders at different revenue stages. The sources do not describe app buyers, acquirers or investors as a regular part of the audience, so the event works mainly as a learning and peer community rather than a place to make deals.

Bootstrapped SaaS founders who want peer advice on pricing, churn, hiring and growth will get the most from MicroConf, including founders of subscription products who have not raised venture money. It suits people who already have revenue and want to compare notes with others at a similar stage. Tips: if you plan to sell an app or raise money, use the conversations between sessions to test your numbers with operators who run SaaS businesses, and prepare a short summary of revenue, retention and growth before you go. The official pages do not list investor meetings or buyer matchmaking, so do not plan around them.
