GITEX AI Central Asia & Caucasus 2027

About the event

GITEX AI Central Asia & Caucasus is the regional edition of the GITEX technology event network, held in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Its first edition took place in May 2026 and is also branded GITEX AI Kazakhstan. It was hosted by the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, with Astana Hub and the Almaty city administration as partners.

The format combines a large exhibition, a conference programme and organised networking. Topics include artificial intelligence, cloud and data infrastructure, fintech, digital government and the regional startup scene. Policymakers, large technology companies, investors and young companies from Central Asia, the Caucasus and other regions attend. The event is meant to show the region as a growing market for technology and to link local founders with international capital and partners. The second edition is planned for June 2027 in Almaty.
