PG Connects Helsinki is the Helsinki stop of the PG Connects conference series from the makers of Pocket Gamer. The event is now branded PG Connects Nordics on the organizer's site. It has run in Helsinki since 2014. It began as a mobile-first, Finland-focused event and now covers PC, mobile and console games across the Nordic countries. The 2026 edition took place on 20-21 October at Wanha Satama in Helsinki, during Finnish Games Week.
The 2026 program was described as having more than 150 speakers, several stages and dedicated tracks including AI, transmedia, indie and investment. Side features listed on the site include developer and publisher speedmatching, curated developer and investor introductions, an investor connector, a mobile indie pitch, an indie zone, a careers zone, an expo area and an after-party. Business matchmaking runs through the MeetToMatch meeting system.
The organizer says the conference brings together more than 1,500 professionals from the Nordic countries, the wider European market and other regions, including studios, publishers, investors and platforms. The focus is games, so it suits mobile game founders more than founders of utility or subscription apps. It offers real chances to meet publishers and investors through the scheduled meeting tools, so it is useful for deal-making as well as learning. No next edition had been announced on the official site when it was checked on 23 October 2026.
Who should attend
Best for mobile game founders, indie studios, publishers' business development staff and investors who want to meet the Nordic games industry in one trip. Founders of non-game apps will find fewer relevant sessions.
Tips: if you plan to sell a game or raise money, book meetings in advance through the meeting system and look for publishers and investors in the attendee list. Bring a short deck with retention, revenue and user acquisition numbers, plus a one-paragraph summary of what you are seeking.
