About the event
Affiliate World Europe is the European edition of the Affiliate World conference series, which also runs events in Asia, Dubai and the Americas. It is a two-day in-person conference held in Budapest, Hungary, in recent years, with the 2025 edition in September and the 2026 edition in July. The organizer has listed Budapest for Europe and says the 2027 dates are coming soon.
The event combines stage sessions with a large exhibition hall. The program centres on affiliate marketing, ecommerce growth and performance advertising: buying traffic, building funnels and creatives, scaling paid campaigns and, more recently, using AI tools for ad copy and landing pages. The content is aimed at practitioners who run campaigns with their own money.
The audience consists mainly of affiliate marketers, media buyers and ecommerce entrepreneurs, along with the networks, traffic sources and tool vendors who exhibit. App founders are not the core audience, although the user acquisition and paid-traffic topics overlap with how many mobile and subscription apps grow.
For Approck readers this is mainly a learning and networking event about performance marketing. It can help in finding traffic partners and UA know-how, but the official site does not present it as a venue for app M&A, and founders should not expect to meet app buyers or app-focused investors in any concentrated way.
Who should attend
Best suited to app founders and growth leads who rely on paid user acquisition, web-to-app funnels or affiliate traffic and want to learn from experienced media buyers and meet traffic sources and ad-tech vendors in the exhibition hall.
Tip for founders preparing a sale or raise: bring clean, verifiable data on acquisition costs, payback and channel mix, because buyers will scrutinise how dependent your growth is on paid traffic. Use conversations with traffic partners to test whether your channels can scale under a new owner.
