TNW Conference is the annual technology festival run by The Next Web in Amsterdam. The most recent edition shown on the official site took place on June 19 and 20, 2025 at NDSM in Amsterdam. It is a two-day in-person event built around stage talks and networking, and sessions from the Purple Stage were made available to watch on demand afterwards.
The program is broad rather than app-specific. Speakers at the 2025 edition came from companies such as Sequoia Capital, Hugging Face and OpenAI, and topics ranged from artificial intelligence and scaling startups to policy and corporate innovation.
According to the organizer, the 2025 audience included more than 2,000 startups and scaleups, over 675 investors, and around 900 corporate innovators and 900 representatives of ecosystems and governments. The site presents the event to investors as a way to grow their deal pipeline and meet fast-growing founders.
For app founders this is mainly a general startup and networking event. There is no dedicated track for mobile apps, subscriptions or app M&A, so it is useful for meeting European investors and partners, but not a specialized marketplace for selling an app. At the time of checking, no 2026 or later edition was announced.
Who should attend
Best suited to app founders who want to raise venture funding or build relationships with European investors, corporates and ecosystem partners, rather than to those looking for app buyers. The organizer says investors make up a large part of the audience.
Tip: before the event, shortlist investors who back consumer or mobile companies and request meetings in advance. Bring a short deck with your key subscription metrics, such as revenue, retention and growth, so conversations quickly move to specifics.
